Congratulations goes out to Albert Sampson for earning the win today 12/17/22 at the Classic Worlds handicap event. The Maco oil pattern at times looked easy, but this shark pattern would all of a sudden come up and bite you if you did not watch the transition. Players went through a number of pieces of their equipment before settling on the right ball in the right part of the lane, with the best motion. Today's pattern was playable from a variety of angles and was definitely speed factored. Good bowling to our top four finalists: Albert Simpson, Dave Nelson, Marcus Haley, and Paul Mahar Sr. All four of these bowlers bowled quite well today. Albert Simpson qualified with a 733 with handicap, Dave Nelson a 713, Marcus Haley with a 720, and our number 1 qualifier, Paul Mahar Sr. with an outstanding 756. Thank you to all bowlers who participated. Due to time constraints we had to change the finals format from 4 match play head-to-head games to a two-game finals, total pins, with pin carryover. Albert Sampson kept bowling steadily great and took the win.
