On November 9th, 2024, the E&BC Classic Worlds Bowling Tournament final regular season event was held at Bowlero Union Hills in Phoenix. The scoring pace on the Chrysolite oil pattern had a medium scoring pace just slightly above average at 38 feet and medium-heavy volume. We had 14 bowlers who joined us today. We would like to congratulate Derek Hughes capturing his first E&BC title. He bowled impressively with a score of 1348 with handicap, bowling about 11 pins above his average consistently today granting him the 1st spot by only 7 pins over the 2nd spot. We cashed 3 bowlers today: Derek Hughes, 1st, Robert Adair in 2nd shooting 1341 with handicap, and Rick Watters in 3rd with a 1314 with handicap. There was only a difference of 3 pins separating the 3rd spot and the 5th spot. There was a tie for 4th place betweek Jim Alme and Wes Buglewicz with a 1311 each only missing the final cashing spot by 3 pins. As per the E&BC Tournaments rules, when there are less than 20 bowlers there will not be a finals held, instead the qualifying squad would be extended by 1 game to be a 6-game beat the board event. Bowlero Union Hills provided a great venue for this tournament event. The maintenance of the lanes is getting much better. Thank you. I am sure the spectators enjoyed the thrill of the competition today because the cashers were back and forth throughout the event. We have now accumulated $950.00 that will be added to the year-end event to be held December 7th, 2024. Reminder, to be eligible for the year-end event you must have bowled at least two events throughout the year. Lineage $336.00. Prize Fund Rollover for end of year event $50.00. Prize Fund Paid out $280.00. Prize Fund Incentive (PFI/Progressive) Paid out $140.00. Side Action Paid out $237.00.
